Classic Motor Yacht 1953 LOA 53ft.     For Sale

Built: 1953 Material: Double Diagonal Teak on Oak Frames.
The “Vanessa” was built by Graham Bunn of Wroxham Ltd. in 1953.

In 2013 we completed a three year refit and she is now based on in Norfolk, St Olaves, at Reeds Lane Marina.
You will find her at most of the Classic boat shows in and around London.

We know she left England sometime between 1965/70 and went to France, unfortunately this part of her history is a bit vague. .

We now know she was originally named “Träumerei II”, then sold to Sir William Steward who named her, we think, “Golden Dawn of Wroxham”, she was then taken to France.

From France she was moved to Spain, and in 1984/85 went to Mallorca, where the new American owners named her “Heather Brooke”.

In 1990 she was sold again to Vanessa Branson and she was renamed “Vanessa’s Folly”.

For her complete history and photos please see History

Any information or corrections regarding her history would be much appreciated .

The “Vanessa” is 53 ft long and was purposely designed and built to comfortably accommodate two couples on board.

Each cabin with ensuite bathroom and now with all modern amenities. Everything on board has been updated, new engines, electrics, central heating, but we have still tried very hard to keep her classic style.
